Lurik is one of Java's oldest woven textiles. For centuries it's been woven by hand in Central Java, its fine stripes believed to carry a kind of quiet protection. It was never just fabric, it was something you wore with meaning.
This coat is made from 100% cotton tenun in a relaxed, open silhouette that layers over pretty much anything. It comes in green, blue, and a soft pink.Â
